The Day It Began

After almost half a year of living up near Champaign, Illinois, then eventually moving to Champaign in August of 2019 I saw a few things on while doing my patrols. The state of the city was a mess and no one was doing anything about it. Homeless people scattered throughout the city, trash everyone, even gang activity.

I knew I had to start small, but I was unaware of where or how. So I started by just visiting and helping the homeless whenever I possibly could. Then while patrolling around I'd clean up trash and take notes on where graffiti was located around the city. The main one was a tag that said Bert and it had a either a halo or eye above it, I could never really tell. I eventually went around with paint and started covering tags. That was all I really did for Champaign and I wish I could've done more.
